This was the final thumbnail I chose to work with, and its pretty close to the final. I feel like most of my time went into all the details on the bed canopy. I chose animals that doubled as fertility symbols. Thus the rabbits and the stork at the top. Marie Antoinette's real bed has a golden rooster on the top.
Poor Marie Anotoinette. Imagine having a husband who wouldn't consummate your marriage for 7 years, and a mother breathing down your neck about grandchildren the entire time. Ugh.And finally, I got a piece into Best of Ringling. Thanks to Gregory Manchess and Irene Gallo, this one is going to be in the 2010 show!
